Could I get a lawyer to take this case Pro Bono? -

I was in a quot;behavior modificationquot; program out in Montana. The school is involved in a class action suite being sued for over 150 million dollars, for abuse, neglect, child endagerment, fraud, and a host of other charges. I joined a class action suite but I am not happy with the law firm, I don t think theyre making any progress. I want to get dropped off the class action suite and bring a suite on my own. I was wondering if this sounds like a suite a lawyer may take pro bono?

it sounds a bit unrealistic but hey, go here http://locate-lawyer.info/ and explain your case. The worse that can happen is, nobody will come forward to take up your case. It s free, so you might as well try.

NO LAWYER IN HIS RIGHT MIND WOULD TAKE THE SUIT. HE NEEDS TO BE PAID LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. MOST CLASS ACTION LAW SUITS TAKE YEARS TO SETTLE. STICK WITH THE FIRM THAT IS HANDLING IT NOW. YOU WOULD JUST DELAY YOUR POSSIBLE SETTLEMENT UNTIL THE CLASS ACTION SUIT IS FINISHED. BECAUSE THEY WONT BE ABLE TO SETTLE YOURS UNTIL IT S OUTCOME.

i think you are confused. quot;pro bonoquot; means free. what you likely mean is on contingency, where their fees are paid by a percentage of your award.

Why the hell would an atty take on a big money pay out case pro-bono? MIGHT get lucky and find one willing to take a little cash and work on a contingency

I would contact a lawyer and ask them if you have a case to pursue, good luck on this issue.
