Well, this is what I have learned while dealing with attorneys, although they all know how to read and interpret laws attorney A will/may read and interpret the same law differently then attorney B. And there lays a problem of epic portions. I do not know if this law firm is good, bad or respectable, but I do know that dealing with the details of the law would make a kind, sane person lose their minds. If your attorney is A he may try and contact attorney B with no results; financially beneficial for both (paid by the 1/4 hour), and both parties get bill for the attorneys time. The list of things you will be billed for will open your eyes to a whole new way of doing business. If you are on a time frame and did not work this out with the attorney in advance you may be wise to make an appointment to work out the details of what you need. Sometime attorneys forget they work for you, they may own the business but you own the pay-check. If you are not satisfied with the new information, you can drop an attorney like a hot potato. Your other option is call your local Bar Association and see if they have had issues in the passed.
