How to find the best female lawyer to sue another lawyer for sexual misconduct? -

need a female lawyer who wont expect sex, and is willing to sue a male lawyer. trading sex for legal fees in illegal

What? So, thanks to poor grammar and punctuation I will make some assumptions here. You want to sue your old lawyer cause he wanted sex from you? Have you called the bar association/law society about this lawyer that wanted the sex? Or did you just jump straight to the money end of it? This lawyer should be disciplined and/or disbarred not just you getting some money out of him. Also, have you filed a police report since what he did was solicitation and is against the law. That being said: 1- You don t need a female lawyer, you need a good one. (Not that female lawyers aren t good...what I am saying is that the sex of the lawyer is irrelevant. 2- The best way to find a lawyer is to ask family, friends or co-workers who they have used in the past. Or call the bar and ask for a referral service. 3 - You really should report him to the bar and the police first!

Your new lawyer better be from another town. They are all friends, so beware.

What? Did you call your state s Bar? Do you have any valid proof of this? You re not going to get anywhere on a lawsuit without absolute proof. It will be just she said and he said. Even if you had DNA, it would still be his word against yours. It could be construed as, they were having a fling while she was his client. If you have a line up of females who can testify that this attorney offered them this deal too, then it may carry some weight. I have an attorney right now (male) and he s just interested in my money! (and I m not exactly chopped liver) I don t doubt what you are claiming, but again, you must be able to prove it. Good Luck..

Why would you think a male lawyer would expect sex instead of money? And what if you end up with a lesbian lawyer? I m sorry, but your question seems to be based on a flawed premise.

Do you have adequate documentation to back up your claim? If so, I would think most other attorneys would be outraged and take your case.

As a female lawyer I am shocked that you are looking for an attorney, not by his or her qualifications , not by his or her experience in the area of law that they practice, not by the state he or she is licensed in, but by their sex. If you have encountered a male lawyer who has offered to trade sex for legal fees you should report him to your state s professional licensing department that issues attorney licenses. They will investigate your allegations and if found true they will discipline the attorney by not allowing him to practice law for a period of time up to forever. As for suing a male lawyer, if you do have a legitimate case you should look for a lawyer or law firm in your state that concentrates on the type of suit that you want to bring.

I am a lawyer in NC. Here is what I would suggest. You need to get a lawyer in your state. However, it might be better to get one in the next town or county instead of the one where the attorney you are suing is located because she might know that lawyer. I suggest you get a consultation with an attorney who handles civil cases regularly and has lots of experience and/or is board certified. You can ask a different attorney for someone who would be good for this type of case. One of the first questions an attorney wants to know is what are the damages? Usually that is in the form of medical bills, lost wages, etc. If you damages are not very high, no one will probably take it on a contingency fee basis, so you will have to pay hourly. That might get expensive. If the sex was consensual and you are over 18, it might be hard to show lots of damages. However, you might be able to ask your attorney if he could just settle out of court with the offending attorney. The offending attorney might be willing to settle out of court with a confidentiality agreement since it might save his law license and his marriage. Or, he might just deny it and call it blackmail. I don t know. If you just want to get the lawyer in trouble for his behavior, you could contact the state bar in his state and report the behavior. It is unethical in my state to have sex with a client- I imagine it is in your state also. I suggest before you take any steps, that you consult with a lawyer and with a counselor. Sometimes these things have a way of boomeranging back on the victim- I wouldn t want that to happen to you. You just need to be clear on what you want and how you plan to achieve that. Best wishes to you.

Wow... You may want to contact a local chapter of the American Bar Association, Better Business Bureau, EEOC, or perhaps a well known womens rights advocacy group to find lawyers that are successful in these matters- MALE OR FEMALE... These agencies tend to gravitate toward only the BEST lawyers for their respective puroposes. If you ask the ABA, I would exercise a bit of discretion...since you want to SUE ANOTHER ATTORNEY. It may be counterproductive. Were your lawyer s comments very straightforward comments or shadily implied? I ask because you have to have a very trump tight case before a reputable attorney will take your case. Be very careful in this situation. Many lawyers within a proximity are often in the same networks. Good luck!
