I live in SoCal and I need a good property lawyer. Anyone you would recommend? -

I caught my landlord with a live webcam on in the apartment. Does this not violate my 4th amendment rights? Can anyone recommend me a good lawyer?

Weeks ago, I told you your landlord was a freak, and that you should run. Let me take a second to repeat that: your landlord is a freak and you should run. Moooooving right along. http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/landl... provides contact information for organizations that deal with tenants rights and assistance in your state. The BEST thing you or your wife can do is call, lay all your issues out, ask them what your options are. and if they can recommend a lawyer if need be. I seem to recall that your LL is also your roommate. If that s the case, he has equal right to the property, and I m not sure that a camera is a huge violation of your rights UNLESS it s been placed in your personal space, or a shared bathroom [ew, that would just be... excuse me while I hum the theme to the Alfred Hitchcock Presents].

i am the next best thing; a RE broker--who knows the law among landlords and tenants. LL had a live web cam on the THE apt. which apartment? Filming what? If he filed you with a hidden camera, that is one thing. if he filed you from a mounted camera from his unit/home or as a security camera, that is something else. A prosecutor needs to know what harm was committed first off, to decide how severe the possible crime is. IF you can email me and give me more specifics I can answer you. so far, if he filed you from a hidden camera, that is violating your frights. HE if filmed you from outside your unit, he violated no laws-rights. Give me more data plz

elk and elk, i think their only for serious injuries though
