There is a way to get usa green card just paying a lawyer? -

I have an Italian passport, a very good friend living in usa and I m ready to spend some money to get a green card. I know somebady just payed $4000 to a lawyer and he got his green card. Does anybody knows more?

You don t just pay a lawyer $4000 and suddenly get the green card. You need to have a profession that is demand in the US, qualifications and or vast experience are a must, also you have find a job and that employer has to prove they can not find anyone in the US that has those skills, a good immigration lawyer knows exactly what is needed, the employer won t. The part about paying the lawyer $4000 is about right in the amount you pay, but that is to process your applications and apply for the different visa s, work authorization visa, non immigrant status visa, medicals etc.... come way before the green card which you might get in three years time if your lucky.

A lawyer can not procure a green card for you-himself, he has to get it from immigration service, and if you go by immigration rules you can get the said green card by yourself-without paying lawyer`s remunerations. Though an immigration attorney may help speed up getting the green card, by knowing all immigration laws, it is not necessary for you to hire a lawyer to get a green card. 4.000$ for assisting you in getting the Alien Registration Card sounds little too high to me...So be careful of what kind of lawyer you are dealing with.
