What type of lawyer would I need to see if I am having problems collecting a inheritance? -

I recently found out I was a contingent trust beneficiary and that the papers and documents that were supposed to be sent to me were purposely (and by the executor of the estate) sent to the wrong address so I wouldn t know. Is there a specific lawyer I should see? Or should I bother since I am a contingent trust beneficiary?

Oh, you definitely need an attorney. A probate lawyer handles actual estates, since you didn t say what state your estate is being probated in, I would contact a probate lawyer on Monday (in the jurisdiction where the estate is at) and if they are not the proper choice he or she will tell you and refer you on to a good civil attorney who can represent your interests in the probate court. If you can prove to the probate court the executor actually did do that on purpose? He or she will be removed from the position and a new executor will be appointed by the judge, they don t take kindly to people screwing around in a court appointed position like that! :)
