Can I work as a lawyer in several European Union countries? -

Assuming that I m a UK national and got my degrees in the UK, can I be a lawyer in the UK, France and Germany? How? What things should I go into?

if you get a JD anywhere in the world, all you need to do is pass the individual state/country s board certification. in the US, lawyers who want to work in multiple states need a board certification from each state; and one of my professors is certified in California, Nevada, Japan, and Italy as well with his US JD :)

you cannot without doing additional legal training in the particular European country you wish to work in - however, you can work for European Union institutions
