if you get a JD anywhere in the world, all you need to do is pass the individual state/country s board certification. in the US, lawyers who want to work in multiple states need a board certification from each state; and one of my professors is certified in California, Nevada, Japan, and Italy as well with his US JD :)
you cannot without doing additional legal training in the particular European country you wish to work in - however, you can work for European Union institutions
