I would NEVER have left Portugal under scrutiny if i had been innocent...NO i would have been offering bodily samples of myself so that they could rule me out.I would not be driving a car to the airport that they thought i had disposed of my daughters dead body in,i would be screaming for everyone to investigate ...Especially if i thought she was still alive EDIT----It may have helped if they had actually turned even one stone themselves
If it is true, then they are certainly going to fuel more suspicion around themselves. Too much does not add up, even now, there are many inconsistencies. Why say they would NEVER leave Portugal without Maddy, then when they hear they could be suspects, they decide they want to come back to the UK. Then to say they would go back to Portugal at any time if asked, but illegidly speak to the top extradition lawyer for advice? Hmmm all seems a bit fishy to me!
I wouldn t have left portugal, and I would have shouted from the rooftops my innocence, I wouldn t care about being arrested and thrown in jail in portugal as long as the world searched for my daughter, the mccanns had the world media at their feet, if they were innocent they would be screaming for someone to find madeleine, not keeping quiet, and employing extradition solicitors, I personally would rather rot in jail for speaking out and have people help me find her If I was innocent, than crawling back home tight lipped and full of guilt.
I am sure they would call it unhelpful . What surprises me is they appear to have no interest in contacting the PJ to discuss the evidence of hair and body fluids that appear to belong to their missing daughter. Wouldn t you be frantic to hear about them? All I know is if these are a plant someone must have had access to her body to do it. I cannot see how the PJ could have planted this sort of evidence when they have no body. Also, if it was the McCanns the PJ should be able to locate a body in the next few months if it has been buried.
It s not so easy to avoid extradition these in Europe, even Pincho s lawyer won t be able to help them. The UK is signed up to the new European extradition law, basically means that a country cannot deny extradition without an extremely good reason, on charges like manslaughter it is nearly impossible. Even delaying tactics will not work, the UK have already agreed to help Portugal in any way possible, so the extra diction when called for should be very quick. They have employed such lawyers, the BBC don t normally go in for speculation. Andy
He must be expensive no? Are they feeling guilty already? (extradition specialist)... But Kate still believes she s alive, why waste time and money in things like this if you not guilty???
If this family are extradited to Portugal their children could conceivably be taken into care..given that the inbelievebaly innept Police force seem to have given up trying to find who actually took this poor girl I would have thought that any family would take similar precautions. I have been in most police stations in Europe and if you aked me pre this dreadful saga which was the worst I would have said Portugese without a shadow of a doubt.
It s not speculation, they want the best lawyer money can buy. And they have left portugal with stones unturned
The one who represented Pinochet no less! I know its amazing isnt it??
Leaving No Stone Unturned means the evidence each parent holds as a clue must not be left out. They must also submit to the turning of each stone brought against them as possible lies weather from denial or dishonesty to protect themselves. They must remain willing to go through the turning.
They are p***ed coz their plans are going pear-shaped.
