Can a cannabis club card prevent me from becoming a lawyer in the future? - california? -

I want to get a cannabis club card....but i m also planning to go to law school in the future. Is it not a wise idea? To become a lawyer, there will be a four-to-six-month inquiry into the would be attorney’s background and moral character. quot;Drug and alcohol abuse also raise red flags. However, many factors are taken into account and each case is considered on an individual basis.quot; what do you think?

It might help.

well, here in florida there is only a handful of legal medical users, literally like 5, and one of them is a lawyer, and they accomodate him at his workplace in miami, he goes on smoke breaks like everyone else, but his cigs are diff... there was a segment on 20/20 about it

I think you should find a different profession.

Just b/c you have the card, does not mean that you have used drugs. You may support the cause, but not partake in illegal activity.

HELL u can become a murderer in california and we will STILL look the other way.

Hun,you are too forward-thinking to be in a stuffy profession like Law. Use your arty talents in other directions. You are obviously bright.Do not sink yourself into right-sided politics when so young amp; free-thinking. Believe me,a career in Law amp; you are under scrutiny 24/7.Guys are always ready to catch you outquot;sinning.quot; If you love freedom ---please do something else.It s not just all about money. And I know!

Who cares? If they can t embrace the fact that you indulge in the sweetest thing on earth, then there s a problem with them, not you.

Of course it s not a wise idea. It may cause you to not be accepted into programs for degrees or to be able to find work even if you did pass the bar and all that stuff
