your bk lawyer was supposed to tell you stop making payment as soon as you signed the form for filing bk
Don t second-guess the attorney you paid for....Direct this question directly to him/her rather than getting free advise from people who may give you incorrect information...however well meaning their response is.... I don t intend to be preachy or mean....but I just had a close friend loose his home to foreclosure because he decided to seek legal advise quot;on the cheapquot; from free sources on the Internet and from friends/relatives who have quot;armchairquot; legal advise...He paid dearly for it by loosing his home. You ve paid the attorney....make him/her earn their fee and direct your question to the expert....
You need to continue to make payments until you get your judgment. You may very well not be let off of all of your debts, and if you don t keep making payments, you could have a lot of penalties to pay.
