Hi there, To become a lawyer in France, you first need to obtain a law Degree, which takes 4 years, and must then pass the Bar exams. After one year at law school, you applicants get a qualification called quot;CAPAquot; and then work as a trainee lawyers for another two years, before they are fully admitted to the Bar. I hope this helps. Best regards, Fabien Cordiez http://www.solicitor.fr

How can I become a lawyer in France? -
I am interested in attaining a French law degree and a US law degree. I am familiar with the process of attaining this degree in the US, but am not at all familiar with the process of becoming an attorney in France. I have found no good websites to reference and know no French lawyers. Any suggestions? I speak French, so websites in English and French are appreciated. Thanks!
