G day, I have a feeling that a double major in international business amp; commercial law will enable you to work as a lawyer, since to become a lawyer you will need to pass the bar exams, so your course will not cover those. The business course will definitely gives you some information on how to do business within the Australian laws, therefore making you quite crucial for international businesses who wants to do business with Austrlaian companies, or setting their business in Australia. If you want to work as a lawyer, then you may have to change your course completely. I strongly suggest that you speak with your course counselor, law lecturers and perhaps even job counselor before making a rash decision. Also you need to know if you can transfer the units that you have done so you do not have to start all over again from 1st year. Hope this helps. Good luck on your study :)
Go and speak to the College that you are studying at. It will probably be easier to find out what you need to do. Try to gain entrance to law in the country you are in. Try to get work as a lawyer in that country because at least the laws will be familiar to you.
First of all u need to go to Australia...
