There is no difference with USCIS process whether you hire a lawyer or not. People who have certain issues or who have special professional assist usually hire lawyers, nothing to do with speed of immigration process.

All the lawyer will do is make sure that all the forms are completed correctly and that you present all the required supporting documents. I highly suggest that you get one if you can afford it. As USCIS will refuse your application if not all of the paperwork is correct or you somehow forgot to tick some tiny little box on the forms. Good luck :)
Seriously.....no....it won t Speed things up.....what it will do is give you a better shot. The wheels of justice run slow. That s why they do so well. They drag it out as long as possible in hopes you die or give up. That is the American way. If they told you otherwise,,,,they LIED to you!
No not really.Your lawyer can ensure all your forms are correctly filed out what happens after you mail it and begin to wait there is not much a lawyer can do.Once it s received to be process the government then takes over.A laywer could help if say you say you were turned down a lawyer could file a appeal or make any corrections to any documents Pretty much you are at the INS mercy-sorry but this how it works
