Well, the most common job out of law school is lawyer. I m in lawschool now and they keep telling us that not everyone goes into practice. I believe many people do business related things, although I don t exactly know what those are... But I can tell you about becoming a lawyer: I think you need to be bright first of all, and you d better love reading because that s all you ll do in law school, you need to have excellent communication and logical reasoning skills. Those are some basics I can think of, but there are many different types of lawyers who will have different skillsets, like being good with people, or good with numbers, or a good advocate, or have good attention to details. Then there are lawyers who go on to be judges, or politicians. Anyway, there is a lot you can do with a law degree. And you don t need a law degree to become a legal secretary - that would be a waste of time and money. You can do a paralegal course if that s all you want to do.
you can be a legal secretary...you can work in a courthouse or at city hall or your state capitol. Are you in high school? You should talk to a counselor and they can help you pick schools. Research the schools programs, find out what they offer and what you can do when you get done. You have to pas the bar exam, which is supposed to be really hard. Getting a law degree requires lots of reading, books, and dedication.
