What schooling and qualifications do you need to become a lawyer? -

I want to know in detail the types of schools and for how long and what degrees you need to become a lawyer. I do not have a clue what I need at all! Thanks!

You need: 1) a highschool diploma (or GED) 2) an undergraduate diploma (no specific major is necessary, although common ones are political science, philosophy, and business). This usually takes at least four years of full-time study. You must also complete the LSAT exam. 3) Juris Doctor (Doctorate of Law Degree). This usually takes about three years of full-time study. You must also pass the Bar Exam in order to practice law in any given jurisdiction. I hope this helps!
