What kind of lawyer do you go to form a LLC or a trust? -

I ve searched and the only things people say about forming a LLC or a trust is that you can go to a lawyer but they never say which one. Which types of lawyers am I suppose to see? The LLC or trust will consist of multiple people.

There exist a number of business attorneys or Will and Trust Attorneys capable of filling in the blanks of a $5.00 form available in any Office Supply store.... If you seek advice and counsel for knowing which device best serves your purpose consider contacting a C.P.A. who will best understand the tax consequences and distribution consequences. Sometimes your accountant will even fill out the applicable forms and file them appropriately. Your LLC needs to be filed with your state secretary of State. Most trusts generally need only county filing. Both require state and federal tax I.D. s. Regardless of your pathway, arm yourself with knowledge from DIY books from NOLO PRESS available in major book stores or on-line. Speaking of on-line, you might check out on-line prices for firms selling LLC s. It is actually pretty simple assuming you know what you want to do and why.

You don t need a lawyer to set up an LLC. Many firms in the state of Delaware can do it in a couple of days. Just Google LLC and Delaware. You ll need an attorney for the trust, one who specializes in trusts and estates. Ask your local bar association for a referral.
