When setting up a corporation, should I speak to a lawyer or an accountant first? -

I am in the beginning stages of setting up a corporation. I am not sure if I should go with an S-Corp, Corp, LLC, ect. Who would be the best person to speak with first to help me determine which type of coroporation would be best for my business? A lawyer or an accountant - and why. Thank you!

You should talk to a lawyer first because there may be some laws or regulations that you dont know about that he will. this way you protect yourself, because that accountant could sucker you into something you could regret later so talk to a lawyer and then bring that lawyer with you when you go to talk to the accountant so he can go over anything so that you don t get scammed.

Yes. You need both.
