What oppotunities can a practicing lawyer from the Philippines have in Australia? -

I m a 27 yr-old lawyer from the Philippines and Im thinking of moving to Autralia by myself. Im single, I have no relatives in Australia but I really really want to have a change in my life.

Unfortunately, not many. Unless you want to go back to uni so that you can be familiar with Australian law in order to practice here. That would take at least 2 or 3 years and cost you a fortune since you re not an Australian citizen, but then again if you re already a lawyer it shouldn t be a problem for you financially. No matter which country you move to you need to be familiar with the laws of that country as much as you are with your home country in order to practice in your new country. Meaning you will need to study extra. But if you study in an English speaking country at least you will learn to spell simple words like quot;opportunitiesquot; ;-)
