How long is the period given by NJ court to find a replacement for a lawyer? -

I have a lawyer representing me now in a divorce action but proposing to hire a forensic accountant to investigate my wife s assets in another country, the expenses to do so will be $100,00 to $200,000. He claims that I can have a share of her assets there. The court in NJ does not have jurisdiction in that country. I did not agree with him and now he is threatining me to find another counsel.
