If one claims he was a lawyer, how can I find out if he is a lawyer and view some of his cases? -

I want to see if a certain person was in fact a lawyer in his previous occupation, can I look him up somewhere? How would it be possible to see any of his cases to see how he works? This would be in Ontario, Canada. Thanks in advance...

I found The Law Society of Upper Canada. Here s the website, and just follow the links. You can find licensed Paralegals and Attorneys there. I think it tells you if they have ever had any disciplinary action taken or not, not sure about cases though. You can also file a complaint there. Hoped this helped. http://www.lsuc.on.ca/

All advocates are registered with the court they work at.You can go to the office and find out if his/her name is in the list of the registered advocates. To view some of his/her cases, you have to ask the advocate to show you his best 4-5.This system is universal.

wouldn t a lawyer have an attorney badge? and some lawyers aren t very famous unless they never lost a case which i doubt

google.him name...also it would a good thing to know what law firm he works for.

you answered your own question, didn t you

You should just be able to do a search on his name and find something.

call up city hall and see what happens just ask stuff and u might eventually get what u want lol
