How much does a corporate lawyer in Ontario make? -

Hi, I want to be a corporate lawyer for BMO in Ontario. How much will I get payed with no experience. BTW What is a best universityin Canada for studying law, and are there any good universities in the states that will accept a 89% average? Thanks

Starting salaries for legal professionals in Canada are predicted to rise 8.3% this year, according to a new study. Salaries Lawyers Average starting salaries for lawyers are expected to rise 9.2% overall. First-year Associates: At a small law firm (up to 10 lawyers) expected to rise 10.8% to $46,500 to $58,500 per year. At small to mid-size law firms (10-35 lawyers) will earn between $54,000 to $66,750 per year, a 9.8% increase. Lawyers with one to three years of experience at large firms (75-plus lawyers) will also see starting salaries rise 9.8% to the range of $82,000 to $108,000 per year. Lawyers with 4-9 years experience at large law firms are expected to see salary increases of 9.1% to the range of $118,250 to $198,250 annually. Corporate Lawyers Corporate lawyers will see gains on average compensation of 11.3%. Corporate lawyers with one to three years of experience will see base compensation rise 12.4% to between $64,750 and $103,250 annually. Salaries for first-year corporate associates will rise 12% to the range of $53,750 to $67,500 annually.
