Try the Scopes trial where the defendant deliberately broke a law to test its constitutionality in front of a court. Scopes got help from advocacy groups across the country as the trial became a national issue of importance. The fledging ACLU spent most of its budget that year to hire a lawyer for Scopes. The lawyer hired was Clarence Darrow, widely acknowledged as one of the best litigators of all times.
oj is the first one that comes to mind. and to make matters worse when it first happened everyone thought i was crazy because i kept defending that he was innocent until proven guilty. i felt that he was proven guilty.
