Are there any jobs out there that are similar to being a lawyer, but do not require obtaining a law degree? -

I would love to be a lawyer, and I feel I would be good at it. The only thing is I do not have the time or money to go to school to get my law degree. I am planning on getting my masters and stopping there.

LLM is also a law degree. The LLM i.e. Masters in Law courses are expensive to pursue. The LLM in the United States is a one year course and the tuition fees itself vary, depending upon, the location, the University, etc, from $13,000 to $27,000. There are no jobs similar to become a lawyer except a paralegal. You can complete law degree after earning some money as a paralegal.

If you are planning on getting your Masters anyway, why not make it an LLM? Then all you have to do is sit a bar exam and you are done. No point in spending the rest of your life regretting not doing your dream job. You could work at as a paralegal but you would always feel exploited as you would do the work and someone else would be paid for it.
