How do I incorporate myself in Texas without a lawyer? -

I recently spent $500 on the services of an attorney to incorporate myself in the state of Texas. In addition to that, I also paid the $300 state filing fee for a total of $800. How could I have done this on my own and saved $500? The only reason why I sought the services of attorney is because I wasn t really sure what to do but it seems to only be routine paperwork that I could ve done on my own.

any place you go to is going to charge something in addition to filing fees - you either have to buy a kit or something, but then you re on your own trying to figure out if you did everything right - no sense screwing around with something like that to save a couple of 100 dollars
