Contact my Attorney Edward Blumberg (305)358-6329 He specializes in accidents, he is also in the Florida Bar Association and can recommend a good attorney in your area. He s a very nice man. Located in Miami. He knew me as Cheryl Lewis(as a reference) He did right by me:-)
I wish I could: I m in NY and involved in a comp case myself. It s not too hard to find one if your case looks good. First make sure you ve reported your injury to workers comp in writing (or fill out the injury report at WORK) within 30 days of your injury. Start getting medical care as soon as possible if you haven t yet! Tell them it s comp-related and you ll provide the info as soon as you can. Go through the phone book and look for comp lawyers, and ask people you know in your area if they have ever had a comp lawyer and who they recommend. Ask relatives and the families of friends if they know of a lawyer who is good or bad. Get all the medical information you can and make sure your MD KNOWS it was a work-related injury and the date it happened on! Get as much backup from him as you can! GOOD LUCK and I hope you WIN your case.
