Should I dream to be a politician or a lawyer? -

I m an incoming Political Science freshmen student. If you are in my shoes, will you be a politician after graduating? Or will you be a practicing attorney/lawyer after law school? Please justify your opinions because I m currently in the decision making stage of my life.

There related, most politicians were lawyers, or have a degree in law. before they take an office.

People who dream of becoming politicans are seldom held in much esteem. Indeed some of our best politicians have been reluctant to take office. George Washington did not want to be president,and he for sure did not want to be president for a second term. But he is one of the best leaders the country has ever seen. Colon Powell was very reluctant to take office and only did so for a limited time, his approval ratings have always been through the roof.

Neither both are crooks. They do make a lot of green backs though. Politics is where you can be a fat cat. But theres a lot more freedom as an attorney.

Amen! I agree with Stunatra. Politics will make a thief amp; a liar of an honest man or woman and lawyers are already thieves and liars.

Think about another profession, nobody likes Politicians or Lawyers.
