i need help getting child support, and the state i live in is not offering much help.i have almost no money to pay my everyday bills, nevermind paying a lawyer. where do i go for help?

I think you mean pro bono. Per diem relates to cost per day. Try googling your state and probono lawyers. Also, you can call around to law offices. Lots of lawyers nowadays will take cases if you sign an agreement to make monthly payments to them.
