First of all, little darlin--- lawyers are not among the most generous of folks on almost any level---especially with their time !! And, calling a list of them quot;cold turkeyquot; is going to get you insulted and frustrated beyond belief before you finally give up in total frustration---believe me-- I have no less that seven lawyers as friends and they don t go too far from their own list for any reason on God s earth !!!! My grandfather used to say----if you hear someone say--- that talk is cheap--- they evidently haven t talked with a lawyer of late !!!! My suggestion to you at this point is for you to find someone who is friends with or knows a lawyer on a personal basis and have THEM open the door for you by the initial contact and request---this would be the most casual way in which to approach this and the method with the highest probability of success !!! Good luck to you---and another suggestion here---when you get with this person---don t tread off into their fees and finances---this is territory that will shut down your interview faster that a street race in Malibu---they just WILL NOT TALK ABOUT THEIR MONEY --- it s like a professional tabu !!!!!!!
I would just call a few and explain your need, I m sure someone would be happy to give you an interview.
Call their office and explain to the receptionist that you are needing to have an interview with an attorney as a homework assignment.. Give the receptionist your phone number, name of school you attend, and your name and ask the attorney to please return your call if he/she is interested in doing the interview for you.
Woo, that is not a good ideal. you know they charge you by minutes. good luck
