How long does it take to become a lawyer? -

i wanted to know, how long, from the start of your undergraduate degree, to the end of law school, including necessary internships etc, does becoming a lawyer take?

Once you complete your bachelor degree it takes 3 years to complete your law school. Your first year will be very important and will concentrate on you acquiring pristine writing skills. The second and the third year are the fun years. They will have more core components of the type of law you are interested in. Once you are done with that component you will receive your law degree, however, you won t be a lawyer quite yet. You will still have to pass the BAR exam in the state you would like to practice law. Hope this helps.

It takes four years to get a bachelor s degree, then three years of law school. Internships are OK, but not required.

Thanks for sharing this article, its been really helpful. I've recently talked to some woodstock lawyers asking about what it would take to become a lawyer and what you have to go through. It sounds like a lot of fun, thanks again for sharing!
