If you want to be a lawyer, you will probably want to major in one of the following: English History International Relations/International Studies Classics Remember, you must pick a major in addition to taking pre-law requirements. Good schools for the above majors are the University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown, William and Mary, Johns Hopkins, Tufts University, U of Chicago, Columbia overall really good schools for everything: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, Rice University, University of Washington at St. Louis, University of California at Berkeley, UCLA, Emory, Vanderbilt.
That virtually corresponds to the list of best schools in the US: http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreview... However my suggestion would be one of the Cleremont consortium colleges: http://www.claremont.edu/ Member schools such as Harvey Mudd (which for stuff like DNA testing would be a great choice - it is one of the finest science schools in the US) have some of the best rates of admission to graduate school in the US. Admission to graduate school like law school is one thing - being prepared for it when you get there is another. I know of no better schools than the Claremont schools in preparing you for that. Thanks Bill
harvard is the best followed by yale and stanfordin my opinion but i recommend university of chicago.
