What does it mean when the DA and judge want to have an informal meeting with your lawyer? -

We are set to go to trial in less than 2 weeks on a felony (not guilty) this has been drug out over a year. Today on his way to meet with me the lawyer stopped by the DA office to see if there was anything else we needed to talk about for our case they told him that the DA and judge wanted to have an informal meeting with him today, what could this possibly mean? Is it probably good news?

Call and ask your lawyer!!!!!

Probably not. Good news would be a Notice of Dismissal, and they wouldn t need to meet with your attorney for that. They d fax it to him the day before trial.
