It does not matter what field you had your undergraduate degree in. Yes, you need to complete an entire undergrad program, meaning you need to obtain a Bachelor s Degree in something (does not matter what it is in), to apply to law school because most state bars will not let you take the exam without a Bachelor s Degree. So, in summation, get your community college done. Then, finish a bachelor s at any school where you can get it, but it must be an accredited school. Finally, apply to law school.
Take most of your general study classes at the community college but first you should check with the university you want to go with to make sure your credits will count towards your degree
You need to go to a four year school in order to go to law school. If you are committed to CC, then take all of your basics - English, Math, a lab science. When you transfer into a Uni program, you ll have two years of core courses, and will only have to take things related to your major. This will save you time and some money. They won t have pre-law, but they might have a paralegal program. Go on web sites of the colleges you find interesting and see what is required for a four year degree. By the way, don t major in pre-law. Major in whatever you want before law school. I have lawyer friends who majored in poli-sci, comparative religion, anthropology, economics, etc. Law schools want you to be able to think and analyze, so liberal arts (English, anthro, history, etc) is a good place to start.
Law schools try to fill their classes with a variety of undergrad degrees. Doing well in a major you love is better than doing mediocre in the quot;rightquot; major. One of the top kids at my law school had a degree in opera performance.
i think u should major in buisness
