Can i become a succesful lawyer in Australia if i have an accent? -

Well i m not asking for facts because predicting the future would be impossible but i just want your opinions. Well i was born in Australia but i lived in South America most of my life and i came back recently so that explains the accent. I m reaching the end of highschool and i have to decide which career path to take and i just wanted to know whether my accent would affect my career as a lawyer.. Well the exact question would be quot;Would you contract a lawyer with an accent?

If I were in a position to need a lawyer, I think I d be more interested in your ability to get me out of gaol or, save me money. If your a good lawyer, I don t think most Australians would care about your accent. Best of luck.
