Can I hire a lawyer to just write a letter for me? -

I want to make payment arrangements with my homeowners association, and want the late charges to be dismissed. I want the letter I send to them to come from a lawyer. What do you think it would cost? This is not going to end up in court or anything like that. It s just a financial matter. I need legal representation to make my request seem more formal.

Yes, you can hire a lawyer for that purpose. How much will they charge? Probably based on their usual hourly rate.

Find a lawyer that specializes in homeowners association law. It s not the most lucrative of law practices, so the fees will be lower than most.

A lawyer will cost you around $75 to write a letter. They charge about $450 per hour these days.
