i had a problem with a dentist i took my daughter to. first contact these people.. http://www.ada.org/ada/contact/index.asp then file a complaint with the attorney general in your state. good luck
With all due apologies to lawyers, 99% of lawyers will take ANY case they can win because that means MONEY...so that probably means you have no real case...
Look for a legal clinic. A legal clinic is basically a free legal service, usually staffed by law students who would be happy to represent you. If your case is intrinsically strong, you can t go wrong with a clinic.
Contact your state dental board to file a complaint. See if they have any recommendations. You can always file your own paperwork without an atty. That will at least be a ding on his malpractice insurance and his liscensing
