It s not libel.. it is slander. I would talk to the Dean and get it straightened out.

Can you prove you did not say what he says you said. Thats a mouthful. If not I doubt he much cares.

Discuss it with the dean. That s a serious misuse of his power as an educator. He probably is shaking in his boots, but your priority should be defending your character and protecting other students from his abuse in future.
