How do I file for custody modification for kids without money for lawyer? -

I have possesion of kids, he has custody. He doesnt want the kids, only the power. I have been taking care of the kids faithfuly for over a year

I thought my custody case was a mess. Umm...Talk to your GAL (Guardian Ad litem) or your Divorce Attorney and let them know you do not have allot of money and what money you do have goes towards the children . Child support help would be beneficial and see about a modification. Just let them know that you have the physically custodial custody of the children but not legally. Is there any chance that you would qualify for legal aid? Best wishes....Good Luck!

Get a lawyer. It s not something you can do successfully yourself. Sorry, sad but true.
