Whats the lawyer charge for transferring a car title to my name? -

My dad died 5 months ago but did not leave a will. As the only next of kin i wanted to transfer the car to me for house insurance bennefits. I was told the only way to do so is through a lawyer. Anyone have an idea how much this would cost?

You have to wait until ur father s estate goes through probate. When the probate assign all property to you, then you take that with the death certificate to the DMV and they will take care of ever thing. I already had to do this
