Why would a lawyer decide not to become a judge in family law? -

In the case of family law, why would a lawyer decide NOT to eventually become a judge?

Same reason a ballplayer decides not to become an umpire. Big cut in pay.

tough emotion filled area of law!

mabye they want the excitement of being a lawyer vs the reliability of being a judge.

Family court is tough to deal with. You have to see families fighting all the time. It s sad!
