Do I have to supply my girlfriends lawyer with my financial papers in regards to child support upon request? -

I m taking her to court for shared custody and her lawyer wants my financials. I know I have to supply the court, but do I have to supply her?

If you haven t got a lawyer by this point, get one. You are in the middle of what is called the quot;discoveryquot; process. Both parties must share information requested by the other. While the court has it, it isn t enough. You must give your financials to her, but don t let HER tell you when she wants them. There are specific steps and processes that should be followed. There are certain time limits given to provide information during discovery. As I said at the very top, if you don t have a lawyer, get one now! good luck.

If he requests it and the court orders it, then yes. It s pretty much up to the judge (The judge will probably order it, but make sure you have a lawyer present with you to make your case go much more smoothly)

You can have your lawyer give it to her lawyer, or you can give it to her lawyer, but she will see it either way.

Give them to the court and ask them to pass them on. It s going to happen anyway,
