How long does it take a insurance company to respond to a demand letter from a lawyer? -

My lawyer sent a demand letter to the dependant. If he was to let his insurance know about it? How long would it take for them(insurance co.) to contact my lawyer.

I give you more details in my previous answer, but a week to 10 days depending on how slow the mail service is. You will get a quick response letter from the insurance company telling you they received the letter and not much else.

Dependant? you mean Insured? (I think you mean defendant, but that person isn t a defendant until you file in court) It just depends, on what you are demanding and what for. you may just get blown off.
