First of all, it depends on the nature of the harassment. If it is harassment based on an illegal category, like your gender, race, age, disability, ethnic origin, or religion, then, depending on the size of your employer and how serious and pervasive it is, you may have a cause of action under Title VII or the Civil Rights Act. You could contact a lawyer that specializes in employment discrimination law. An initial consultation should be free. Title VII allows for attorney fees to be paid if the employer is found liable. Also, you can file a complaint with the EEOC. Go to eeoc.gov. There is a lot of info there on what you can do.
What type of justice are you looking for? If you want money, a lawyer will take a cut if you win. If not, you will have to pay the lawyer unless they take it on a contingency basis. Meaning, if they don t win the case for you, you don t have to pay anything.
Do you want justice or do you want money ? If you want justice, talk to the owners of the company. If you want money, just quit and find another job.
mmm...you will need $$$ for sure...no matter which lawyer you will get, it will cost mucho $$$
