I GOT RUDE ANSWERS TO THE LAST QUESTION...I need ailomony because he was abusive and controlling,controlled me financially,i have nothing of my own and no credit cards or bank account im also extremely ill and applying for disability but it takes a long time maybe even yrs to get it!

I recommend talking with someone about this ... but the alimony is a court order. Thus, I would think you would want to get a lawyer. The alimony would pay the attorneys fees in a short period of time. Additionally, you can fight for him to pay 1/2 of the attorney fees.
