What type of lawyer should I contact? -

I worked for 3 weeks before my employer disappeared without paying 5 of his employees. No one has been able to reach him to get our hard worked money and it seems he is trying to sell his store in order to pay us, but he s just taking too long and not trying hard enough, so we want to take legal action. What kind of lawyer do you get to sue an employer for owed money?

You may need an employment lawyer. If you do go to court make sure you talk to lawyer about putting lien on his property that way if he sells you ll get your money thru the sell of his property. Or a lien on his house same thing as above.

Go to the labor board

why not just a regular lawyer
