Is there a way I can get married in Costa Rica without a lawyer? -

We do not want a ceremony just a certifercate of marriage. The lawyer over there wants $500.00 for it. Is there another option?

You ve got to have a marriage before you can get a certificate of marriage. If you were already married there, contact the office where the license was recorded. They ought to be able to send you a copy for a relatively nominal fee.
